I would think that this was a joke, except that I know some people who are quite serious about this “side hug” business.

NSFS - Not Safe For Sanity. Also, “Jesus never hugged?” As I recall, Jesus was betrayed by a kiss from a man, said kiss being a common greeting at the time.
I’ve decided the Christian Side Hug is not for me. No disrespect or anything. But I think I’ll stick with my Agnostic Jew Dry Hump.
